I can't help myself. Everytime I pull up the Frankfort Public Library's website, I see Plucky. That is the name that I have given him because although he is innocent and whimsical in appearance, I see him as smoking a cigarette. In reality, he has a pencil in his mouth and there is no smoke lines coming from the pencil but my brain can't stop making the assumption that he has a cigarette in his mouth.
This is not a big deal but Plucky's goal on the web page is to get kids to read (not to say that smoking is cool). I thought about telling my librarian friends about this but I did not want to look insane. So I have decided to let you guys look and you can tell me what you think.

If the pencil was behind his ear, they would get a whole different effect. I agree with you--it does look like he's smoking. It's the way it hangs out of his mouth. I'd be tempted to say something, as a mom.
